U-pick is open everyday from 7a-6p until the end of Halloween. Our bakery is open for the exact same hours 7a-6p everyday. Our grill will only be open Monday through Friday during the fall, but we will still be serving all of our pastries and grab-n-go cold foods on weekends - exactly like how we have run the past 3 years.
Currently the best apples to pick right now are Paula Reds, Red Frees, Crabapples, Ginger Golds, and we also have an early Honeycrisp variety that is ready now.
We don't allow dogs in the orchard unfortunately!
We have a great crop of apples this year, and will have U-pick until the end of October.
Very large selection of pumpkins and gourds out front of our store, they are individually priced with a sticker on each one.
We will offer drop apples towards the end of October for a reduced price.
All u-pick apples are priced at $1.60/lb, except for the Honeycrisps which are $2.25/lb
In the midst of quiet hay fields in Bowdoin, Maine–about 6 miles north of Mt. Ararat High School on Route 201–you'll find our orchard and bakery, featuring homemade pastries and breads, deli sandwiches, and Toot's ice cream as well as Maine made merchandise. Sample our fresh apple cider donuts while you look through our antiques and Maine gifts.
Or eat your fresh crabmeat roll out on the patio overlooking the hay fields. Your kids will love to try out the barn swing! Our location is handicapped accessible and has something for everyone. Starting in September through the end of October, we invite you to come pick our many varieties of apples off the tree or already bagged in the store. We also have a great selection of pumpkins, squash, gourds, cornstalks, and ornamental corn.
